E-tivities are frameworks for enabling active and participative online learning by individuals and groups. An e-tivity involves learners interacting with one another and with the course tutor in an online communication environment, in order to complete a particular task. E-tivities are also easily combined with location-based learning and other teaching activities.

E-tivities use your regular Learning Management System (no other technologies are needed).

In this online workshop, you will learn how to design really good interactive activities, and a framework so you can design and deliver as many as you wish for your students. You will get concrete inspiration for the pedagogical and didactic aspects of e-tivities. And you’ll learn how digital environments can contribute to learning in teaching processes.

E-tivities have been very-well researched and developed and now offer a strong framework that you can make your own, for online or blended learning. They are suitable for all disciplines and professions and levels of education.

Professor Gilly Salmon has been a learning innovator for more than 30 years  and is one of the world’s leading thinkers in digital and blended learning.
